This is not only what we should strive to do as Christians but is our Summer Archery Program at Grass Lick Baptist Church. Our goal is to educate children while teaching and having fun with the skill of Archery. The program will begin in June and finish in August and is open to children grades 4th through 12th, and at the discretion of the individual running the Range, could even include children in 3rd grade.
Children will begin with a 30-minute lesson from the Bible while enjoying a snack, then they will have 30 minutes to learn how to shoot. The Church will provide all equipment (lessons, snacks, bows, arrows, and targets) needed so they can have an enjoyable experience learning the skill of Archery. On the final night of shooting, we normally will shoot at balloons and award prizes. At the conclusion of the program, there will be a celebration of fun, food, and possible activity, such as swimming.
